I would highly recommend Footprint’s tours, every day was an adventure into the culture of the area we visited.Beccah is a great tour guide. She is great fun, very caring, and handles any difficultsituation with patience and confidence. Her knowledge of the way “things worked” in the areas we visited was invaluable. Beccah also connected with locals so that sometimes we got an extra insight into the local way of life; for example, meeting a Deaf school group. (Beccah isa qualified sign language interpreter.)Growing up in a family which had strong connections to India and Nepal all her life, means that she has valuable knowledge of the culture and is always pleased to share her knowledge. - KayeRenee

I’ll follow this guy anywhere! Dorje McKinnon actually was born to guide. With his parents as role models, Dorje knows travel the way a farm kid knows tractors. Besides logistics Dorje is just so darn delightful. He’s knowledgeable and funny and not the least bit pretentious about his considerable skill in languages, history and geography. If Dorje thinks someplace is worth visiting then you can be sure it’ll be one of the most interesting trips of you life.Niki

We had such an incredible adventure in China and Tibet with you, Keryn. You took us to some extraordinary sights – we saw the most stunning temples, ate some of the most interesting food we have ever tried, went souvenir shopping and had plenty of time for relaxing in between. The guided bus tours you took us on led us to enjoy some of the best experiences wewouldn't have known to seek without your guidance. Giant buddhas carved into the sides of cliffs, the Chinese opera, Terracotta Warriors, not to mention an epic overnight train journey to Lhasa and a week in stunning Tibet during Saka Dawa month where we saw pilgrims and giant thangka, kora to Joking temple and visited the beautiful and very spiritual Potala Place.Finishing our tour in the culinary wonder of Chengdu brought our trip to a delicious finale. You managed to cater to our family’s diverse needs with flair and a smile. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt we were in expert hands. We can’t thank you enough for your warmth, knowledge and humour, and for making this a trip of a lifetime.
